Our experience: We absolutely loved staying at Kayumanis Ubud from the first second we entered the Lobby and were warmly greeted by the staff. Kayumanis clearly focuses on giving you pure luxury while at the same time helping you to feel at home. No buffet breakfast times – having served your breakfast order in your private villa whenever you want was amazing. And the private pools are simply gorgeous – exactly what you would want for a serene honeymoon in the beautiful jungle surroundings of Ubud. The grounds of the hotel are large and set along the beautiful Ayung River – definitely one of the best resorts in Bali for honeymoon couples!

Our experience: It’s impossible to share all those pictures on Instagram! Munduk Moding Plantation is truly a “dream come true” for an instagrammable honeymoon in Bali! It is located inside an organic coffee plantation and Munduk Moding Plantation’s infinity pools are just to die for! We stayed at a One Bedroom Villa and we totally loved the sunset view from our room – but you can even opt for a room with a private pool if you want to spoil yourself! Make sure to join on the various free activities throughout the day – like the tour of the coffee plantation. There are plenty of amazing waterfalls surrounding the remote village of Munduk – trust us, you don’t want to miss out on these!

The Tamarind Resort Nusa Lembongan

Our experience: Nusa Lembongan has been one of our favorite places in Bali in 2006 already and it continues to be “our not-so-secret Bali tip”. Both pools look absolutely gorgeous and offer a stunning sunset view over Bali on clear days. Plus, The Tamarind Resort has a delicious a-la-carte breakfast that will fulfill all your “Bali cravings” and help you start into the day on Nusa Lembongan perfectly. There is a lot to discover here on this tiny island and The Tamarind Resort is perfectly located for these adventures!
