Best Disneyland Paris photo spots for Instagrammers

So, time to look at the best photo spots that one can find in Disneyland Paris – these will make a great backdrop for a Disney-inspired Instagram photo!

Sleeping Beauty Castle

That’s definitely the No 1 Instaworthy Spot in Disneyland Paris: The pink-blue Sleeping Beauty Castle! (It also has its own hashtag #sleepingbeautycastle that is pretty popular)

Unfortunately, you won’t be the only person that wants to snap a shot here. Your best chances of an unoccupied shot are either on the sideways of the bridge leading towards the castle or to the left (towards Discoveryland)!

Look on the bridge leading towards Disneyland to see that it was indeed a crowded day!

Le Carousel de Lancelot

This beautiful old-style carousel may not be the wildest attraction – but it certainly is one of the best Disneyland Paris photo spots for Instagrammers!

You can also nicely ask one of the employees to snap a shot of you when you already climbed one of the colorful horses!

Alice’s Curious Labyrinth

We actually only went into Alice’s Curious Labyrinth because it was only 5 minutes waiting time – and I am glad we did!

Because this labyrinth is actually super cute and there are quite a few nice photo spots here! My personal favorite Disneyland Paris Photo Spot in the Labyrinth was the part where it said “Queen of Hearts” above me! 🙂

In front of the Disneyland Hotel (Main Entrance)

The majestic Disneyland Hotel forms the entrance of Disneyland Paris (behind the security checks) – and it’s one of the most instagrammable places in Disneyland Paris!

Go to the left of the fountains to get a shot with most of the beautiful pink hotel front!

Unfortunately, this place is really always crowded – so you either accept the people in your shot or you have to do some serious photo editing!

Take a picture with any Disney Character!

Of course one of the most iconic Instagram shots that you can get in Disneyland Paris is with one of the official Disney characters!

And don’t worry – the staff is used to taking pictures with your camera too if you ask them nicely! They will also take your picture with a professional camera and you can purchase these later if you want. But there’s no obligation in doing this (and the Disneyland Photopass isn’t cheap either) – and you don’t need a professional photo for a cute Disneyland Paris Instagram Shot!

Pro Tip for taking pictures in Disneyland Paris with Characters: Get the Lineberty App to reserve your spot for free and skip the huge queues for character meet-and-greets and make this photo shoot much easier!

You can find more information about skipping the queues with Lineberty in my ultimate guide to Disneyland Paris!

Best Disney Hashtags / Disneyland Hashtags to use!

Pin for Disneyland Hashtags + Disney Hashtags post

It’s getting more and more complicated to get your post seen on Instagram these days. That’s why it’s even more important to use the right hashtags with your cute Disneyland pictures so that they can get the attention and likes that they deserve!

It’s always a great idea to use some specific hashtags and then move gradually to less specific ones to get the maximum exposure. So I’d suggest you start with some Disneyland Paris hashtags, then some general Disneyland Hashtags and then some Disney Hashtags.

And afterward, you can throw in some travel hashtags as well to make sure you use all those 30 hashtags!

All Disney Hashtags are sorted by size – and I added them in a box at the end so that it’s easier for you to copy them to your Instagram caption!

What to wear in Disneyland

If you are Instagram crazy, then planning your outfit is always important for your photoshoots. And Disneyland definitely calls for a Disney-inspired and carefully selected Disneyland outfit!

However, when planning what to wear in Disneyland, you should also consider that your clothing needs to fit with the weather. AND it needs to be comfortable enough so that you can enjoy your day at Disneyland.

Read: What to wear to Disneyland Paris

So, you are looking for an outfit that fulfills basically these criteria:

  1. Cute and Disney-inspired
  2. “Instagrammable” (ideally floating/moving and not too dark)
  3. Comfortable for the whole day
  4. Fitting with the weather

I felt like a pink skater skirt, comfortable sneakers and a pastel-colored T-Shirt was just right for me. And Cat looked gorgeous in her red mini dress with the white polka dots and her sandals!
