Somehow this map reminds me that I haven’t visited Russia yet…Or Greenland…Or Canada!
But back to what this article is about: I call myself a Travel-a-Holic on Instagram, so OF COURSE I keep track of how many countries I have visited! And my ultimate goal as a traveler is, to visit at least 100 countries one day. There are simply so many amazing and different places in the world! I am definitely one of these persons fueling the growth of the tourism industry!
I am lucky that I was already able to see some of them and done a variety of things from my travel bucket list – like staying at a japanese Ryokan or taking a train across South Africa or Island Hopping in the Philippines. But still, there is so much more in this world!
Ask me about those countries!
But actually, this short article isn’t supposed to be about bragging about how much I have traveled already – I want you to see it as a list of all the countries you can ask me questions about!
And I mean that – just DM me on Instagram, write me a mail or use the contact form like “Hey Sarah, I am planning to go to … in a few weeks – any idea what I absolutely can’t miss/definitely should avoid/where to stay/what to eat/…” – I seriously love assisting people with their travel plans!
So here’s my country list (alphabetically – no discrimination here 😉):
- Argentina
- Australia
- Austria
- Bahamas
- Belgium
- Bolivia
- Brasil
- Bulgaria

Of course, I don’t have in-depth knowledge of all of them (yet 😊) – but what can you lose by just asking? 😉
How many countries have you visited already?

Since the article content is not available, I cannot reference specific travel destinations or details. If you can provide the text of the blog post, I’d be happy to write a comment in its native language for you.
Nice list! I’m definitely planning to add Iceland and New Zealand soon.
54 countries and still no Portugal? That’s a crime honestly. I’m at 31 so you’re way ahead of me, but Moonlight peak has a solid breakdown of how to actually count places like Hongkong and Vatican without inflating the number.
That Japan ryokan stay and train journey across South Africa sound like such cool bucket list wins, and I like the idea of using a country list to help people plan trips. I’m definitely adding online proportion calculator to my own travel notes.
