The ryokan said that we need to take the bus from Jomo Kogen and stop at Minakami Iriguchi to change to their provided shuttle bus. But, I’ve read some reviews that said they were having difficulties reaching out the onsen to book the free shuttle bus, and ended up renting a car or taxi to get there.

Did you able to book the shuttle in advance? If you did, may I know how?
